MP/MPH Population Health Scholar Awards

Public health and population health exist in a multi-cultural world both at the national and international levels. This award is intended to provide cross-cultural experiences in the United States and abroad to MS1 MD/MPH students through the capstone field experience (e.g. Public Health Research, Service, or Health Policy) during the summer before the 2nd year of medical school.

Applicants must be enrolled in the MD/MPH program, have completed at least 9 credits of MPH coursework, and have academic performance in good standing in both MD and MPH programs. The funding level for a given project will be in the $1,000 to $3,000 range
